Weekly Board Meeting Held in Gökçeada (Imbros)

The AK Party Gökçeada District Organization completed its weekly regular board meeting. The meeting addressed the island's current needs, ongoing efforts, and projects planned for the near future.

District Chairman Abdullah Keleş emphasized in his post-meeting statement that all developments on Gökçeada's agenda — whether positive or negative — are closely monitored. He stated that they continue to work and produce for the district with common sense and composure, backed by a strong organizational structure.

Knee Replacement Surgeries Begin at State Hospital

One of the most notable agenda items of the meeting was the new service step at Gökçeada State Hospital. Keleş announced that knee replacement surgery has started in the orthopedics and traumatology department.

Following the first procedure carried out in this context, the patient's treatment is still ongoing. This development is significant as it shows the expansion of healthcare services offered on the island.

Abdullah Keleş thanked all board members who attended the meeting. He also extended his condolences to board member Senem Ayşe Önal and her family, who could not attend the meeting due to the passing of her esteemed uncle.
