Gökçeada's Sewer Infrastructure Undergoes Maintenance

A significant step has been taken to provide a clean environment for residents and visitors of Gökçeada (Imbros). A combined sewer cleaning vehicle sent by the Istanbul Water and Sewerage Administration (İSKİ) carried out comprehensive cleaning and maintenance work on the island's sewer lines and wastewater treatment plant.

What Did the Work Cover?

Field teams cleaned waste accumulated in the lines due to long-term use. Problems at clogged points were identified and resolved on-site, making the infrastructure system much more efficient. This work, covering both sewer lines and the wastewater treatment plant, is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the island's overall infrastructure.
